Cavity Fighter

Here's a quick summary how to fight cavities:
1. Keep plaque at bay. Brush regularly.
2. Floss correctly and often.
3. Have a professional clean your teeth.
4. Provide fluoride for your teeth.
5. Drink water, not carbonated soda.
6. Chew sugarless gum.
7. Fix small cavities before they become larger.
Finally, wear a Cavity Fighter Shirt! This will serve as a reminder of your dental appointments. ツ I got mine today from one of my favorite Online Shop - AnythingZanthie , the shop owner Dr. Michelle Nuqui, a dentist too, friendly, accomodating, and kikay. Hoooray for Pinay Entrpreneurs! ツ

Yummy Way to Protect Your Teeth
Look I Grabbed this!

Visited a secret site and got this! Maybe I missed my longtime friend and mentor.
" I know the plans I have for you " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Learning Creativity

Today my daughter is playing at a fashion design site for kids. I realized it is fun to create your own fashion style. So I tried it myself and this is what I created. It's like nourishing the child within me...yehey...I created one.
Learning Creativity
Creativity is something kids can learn and work at cultivating for the rest of their life. It is learning to see options: the doors and windows of opportunity. When well developed and nurtured, this skill will allow kids to take a most ordinary existence and turn it into an extraordinary life.

Wow! Very good to follow the health rules and eat the right foods to look and feel young. I'm turning 50 on the 14th of this month but I don't feel old at all. Like this little poem says:
Today I turned fifty. I feel really good.
My body’s still working quite well thanks. (Touch wood!)
My hair’s not too grey, my wrinkles are few,
I can still touch my toes with my knuckles. (Can you?)
I’m quite full of vigour, just getting ripe.
(But they now print the phone book in much smaller type.)
My hearing’s still good. What’s that you say?
Speak clearly, don’t mumble, your voice wafts away.
Inside this old body I’m still young, but then
If life starts at forty, I’m really just ten!
Ha!:) Very appropriate! Love you lots and keep you in my prayers.

My Mornings
I Met God in the Morning
I met God in the morning,
When the day was at its best,
And His presence came like sunrise,
Like a glory in my breast.
All day long the presence lingered,
All day long He stayed with me,
And we sailed in perfect calmness
O'er a very troubled sea.
Other ships were blown and battered.
Other ships were sore distressed.
But the winds that seemed to drive them,
Brought to me a peace and rest.
Then I thought the other mornings,
With keen remorse of mind,
When I too had loosed the moorings,
With the presence left behind.
So I think I know the secret,
Learned from many a troubled way:
You must seek Him in the morning
If you want Him through the day.
--Ralph Spaulding Cushman
I like this poem, it expresses my desires, meeting Him in the morning gives me a sense of direction. God takes my hand and walks me through the day ahead. The picture above is my special spot in the morning, I like how the sun brightens my place. Basking in the light makes me feel His special blessings for the day.
Homework

home is our emotional heartland---- a place to restore our balance
Just a Corner
Time to be slow, time to dream,
time to read. One of the biggest
luxuries in modern life is
unscheduled, uncommitted time.
free time
Defend it fiercely and value
it. It's not wasted. Your
brain needs it to come up
with new ideas.
In the fast moving world it's eay to lose touch with oneself. A room of one's own and a sense of self are interconnected. We need a place to dream in peace, for solitude and creative thought. Make one place --- just a corner will do --- where you can surround yourself with things that have meaning for you, that give you sense of self. A place to be who you are rather than the person you feel you ought to be. Think about the items you choose to have around you so that they really are the ones you care about. Set time aside to loose yourself in the things that inspire you. For me I call my place... My Tea Corner.
